Tagwright terms of service

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms are not finished: some details below are still missing.

These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs Tagwright, and [not set: PRIVACY_BUSINESS_NAME], trading as Tagwright, a natural person carrying on individual activity in Lithuania, [not set: PRIVACY_BUSINESS_ADDRESS], registered in the Register of Taxpayers of the State Tax Inspectorate (Valstybinė mokesčių inspekcija) under individual activity certificate No. [not set: PRIVACY_BUSINESS_REGISTRATION] (“we”). Tagwright is for businesses only: by installing it, you confirm that you use it for your trade, business or profession, not as a consumer. If you install it for a business, you confirm that you may agree for that business.

How this agreement is made

You accept these terms, and the data processing agreement that is part of them, by installing or using Tagwright. Before you approve the install or a plan, Shopify’s screens let you check your choice and cancel. You can save or print this page, and we email you a copy of the version that applies to you when you ask. These terms and the data processing agreement are offered only in English.

What Tagwright is

Tagwright is a Shopify app for printing barcode and price labels for your store’s products. It works only with your Shopify store.

Tagwright and Shopify

Tagwright is made and run by us, not by Shopify. We alone are responsible for Tagwright. Shopify is not liable for any fault in Tagwright or any harm that may result from installing or using it. Except where Shopify expressly says otherwise, Shopify cannot help you install or use Tagwright: for help, write to us at support@countinghouseapps.com.

As between us and Shopify, we alone are responsible for any liability that may arise from your access to or use of Tagwright, including its development, use, marketing, distribution, support and access to it, and our access to, use, distribution or storage of your store’s data. Shopify’s own terms continue to apply to your use of Shopify.

Shopify is not a party to these terms and does not have to take part in any dispute between you and us. What this section says about who is responsible instead of Shopify does not widen our liability to you: “Liability” below sets it.

Plans and payment

Tagwright has a Free plan, with the number of labels for each calendar month that the app shows, counted in your store’s time zone as set in Shopify, and a paid Pro plan. Prices are shown in US dollars on Shopify’s plan page for Tagwright, which the app’s Plan page opens, and on Tagwright’s Shopify App Store listing. They do not include taxes: where Shopify must charge tax, it adds it on your Shopify bill.

Pro is billed by Shopify, on your Shopify bill, as an app charge. To stop paying, switch to Free on Shopify’s plan page or uninstall Tagwright. A switch to Free takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for. Uninstalling stops future charges, but not a charge already on your next Shopify bill.

Charges are not refunded, unless the law requires it or these terms say so. If you think a charge is wrong, write to us: refunds are our decision, not Shopify’s, and a refund we give goes back to you through Shopify. We tell you at least 30 days before we change a plan’s price or how plans are priced, or take something out of a plan, by email to your store’s email address in Shopify; if Shopify, the law or a security risk makes us take something out of a plan sooner, we tell you as soon as we can.

What you send us

When you send us a problem, an idea or a suggestion, we may use it to improve Tagwright without owing you anything for it. If what you send is protected by copyright, such as a text, a drawing or a label design, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence, for as long as that protection lasts, to use, copy and change it to develop and explain Tagwright.

We may thank you with extra labels for the calendar month, in your store’s time zone, in which we give them, or with a Pro feature until the end of a day the app shows. These are free extras: they have no cash value, we decide when to give them, and they are never given for, asked in return for, or affected by reviews or ratings of Tagwright.

Using Tagwright

Use Tagwright only with the Shopify store it is installed in, lawfully, and in line with Shopify’s terms. Don’t try to get around its limits or its security, overload it, or reach another store’s data. You are responsible for what you type into it, such as label notes and template names: don’t store anything illegal in it, such as other people’s personal data you have no right to use.

What you store, and how we act on it

We don’t monitor or review what stores keep in Tagwright. We act when someone tells us about specific illegal content, when an authority orders us to, or when we come across it while helping you. If something you stored is illegal or breaks these terms, we may delete it or make it unusable, and if the breach is serious or repeated, suspend or end your use of Tagwright. A person, not an automated tool, makes each such decision, and we tell you our reasons as “Ending the agreement” describes.

Anyone can tell us about information in Tagwright they believe is illegal, with our contact form or by email to support@countinghouseapps.com. Please say why it is illegal; where it is, as exactly as you can (the store’s myshopify.com address and, for example, a template’s name); your name and email address (not needed if it concerns the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of children, including child sexual abuse material); and that you believe in good faith that what you say is accurate and complete. We confirm that we received it, decide on it without undue delay, carefully and objectively, and tell you our decision and how you can contest it.

If an authority orders us to act against information you stored, or to give it information about you, we tell you what the order says and what we did, unless and for as long as the authority tells us not to.

Your labels

Tagwright prints what your Shopify store holds: product names, prices, barcodes and stock come from your store, and the labels follow the template, label size and printer you choose. Check your labels before you use them: print a test page when you change a label size or a printer, check the first labels when you change a template, and check that prices are right and barcodes scan.

The barcodes Tagwright creates for products that have none are UPC-A numbers beginning with 4, a range GS1 sets aside for numbers a business assigns for its own use. Other businesses use the same range, so these numbers are not unique outside your business and are not registered anywhere: they are meant for use only inside your own business. Other retailers and marketplaces may require barcodes registered with GS1.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Tagwright running and correct, but we provide it as it is and as available: we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

Tagwright depends on Shopify. Shopify can change what its systems let apps do, and can limit, suspend or end Tagwright’s access to your store, or remove Tagwright from the Shopify App Store, at any time; Tagwright may then stop working, in part or completely, without warning.

We may change, add or remove features. At least 30 days before we remove a major feature, make another major change to the features, or change what Tagwright mainly does, we tell you by email to your store’s email address in Shopify, unless Shopify, the law or a security risk requires the change sooner; we then tell you as soon as we can. If we stop offering Tagwright altogether, we tell you the same way at least 30 days before, and again a week before it ends.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or injury to health, for non-material damage, or any other liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded.

Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profit or income, lost sales, lost data, or losses from goods labelled, priced or sold wrongly. Our total liability to you for all claims about Tagwright is limited to the greater of what you paid for Tagwright (its charges on your Shopify bill) in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim, and 100 US dollars. These limits apply to all our liability to you, including what “Tagwright and Shopify” above says is ours alone; they do not make Shopify liable for any of it.

Your data

Our privacy policy explains what Tagwright uses and keeps, and for how long. Our data processing agreement, which covers personal data Tagwright processes for you, is part of these terms; on personal data, it takes precedence over them. Where your data is held, and how we protect it from access by governments outside the European Union, is on our Moving your data page.

Moving your data

You can ask at any time to move your data to another service or to your own systems, or to have it erased. To move it, download your data on Tagwright’s “Your data” page, or write to us; if you want us to work with your new provider, tell us who it is. To have it erased, uninstall Tagwright, as described below. There is no notice period: the switch starts the day you ask.

From then you have a transition period of 30 days, which you can extend once, for as long as you choose, by telling us. During it, these terms keep applying and Tagwright keeps working as usual; we give you, and anyone you authorise, reasonable help with the move, give you the information you need for it, tell you of any risk we know of to your use of Tagwright (those known now are on our Moving your data page), and keep your data secure. The download gives you your data at once; anything you ask for that it does not hold, we give you within the transition period.

After the transition period, you can still download your data for at least 30 days, for as long as Tagwright stays installed (the Free plan costs nothing). When you have your data, uninstall Tagwright: the switch is then complete and the agreement ends. If you want your data erased rather than moved, uninstall Tagwright: the agreement ends at once. Either way, we email your store’s email address in Shopify that the agreement has ended, and erase your store’s data as our privacy policy describes. Data you have not downloaded before you uninstall cannot be recovered.

Your download is one file in JSON, a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, with all the exportable data Tagwright keeps for your store. Our Moving your data page lists every part of it, what is left out (such as access tokens) and why, and how to use it. Moving your data, downloading it and erasing it are free, and there are no fees for ending the agreement early; ending it yourself does not refund a charge already paid.

Ending the agreement

You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling Tagwright.

We may suspend your use of Tagwright, or end this agreement, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or where the law or Shopify requires it. We tell you so by email to your store’s email address in Shopify when we do it, unless the law forbids it: what we did and for how long, the facts and the rule or law it rests on, and how you can contest it, by replying to us or before the courts named below. An end takes effect when we send that email. If we end the agreement for a reason other than your breach, we refund the part of any Pro charge that covers the time after the end.

When Tagwright is uninstalled, your store’s data is deleted as the privacy policy describes. What these terms say about Tagwright and Shopify, about what you send us, about liability, about deleting your data, and about law and courts still applies after the agreement ends.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top. At least 30 days before a significant change applies (one that reduces your rights, or adds to what you must do or pay), we tell you by email to your store’s email address in Shopify. A change the law, Shopify or a security risk requires applies when we tell you. If you do not agree, you can uninstall Tagwright before the change applies. If you keep using Tagwright after it applies, the changed terms apply to you.

Emails from us

We email you at your store’s email address in Shopify (the one Shopify uses to contact the store owner) only about Tagwright: the notices these terms, the data processing agreement and the privacy policy promise, answers to Shopify’s requests about your customers’ data, and answers to what you write to us. By installing or using Tagwright, you agree to receive these emails.

Law and courts

These terms, and any dispute about them or about Tagwright, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. The courts of the Republic of Lithuania have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or Tagwright.

Contact

Questions about these terms: support@countinghouseapps.com, or our contact form.

Our email address and contact form are also our single point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act: for the authorities of EU member states, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, in English or Lithuanian, and for merchants, who can also use the Feedback page in Tagwright. A person reads every message.
